More details about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Altos Federal Group is seeking qualified persons to provide services at Tripler Army Medical Center.
Ideal candidate with have successful comple! tion of certification for the following tasks:
Recognition of life threatening arrhythmias;
Defibrillation; Emergency cardioversion;
Independent administration of emergency drugs (monitor, mix, administer, titrate);
Drawing and interpretation of arterial blood gases;
Suctioning;
Operation of Emergency Room equipment;
Observes, manages patient flow through the Emergency Room. Triage patients, referring to appropriate level of care;
Uses cardiac monitoring equipment; interprets and responds appropriately to data.
Perform arterial punctures
Required Skills
Required Experience
Requires a degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency.
Must have a current active unencumbered license from any state or territory of the United States with no restrictions.
Minimum of one year experience within! the last three years in a Level II Emergency Room or in a cri! tical care area of four or more beds as a registered nurse.
Experience working in a high acute care setting (Hospital setting)
Must have and maintain current certifiaction in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association
Must be US Citizen
