Concentric Methods is seeking an experienced Pediatric
Physician Consultant.
This position will support the Naval Health Clinic
Hawaii (NHCH). Services shall be provided at Branch
Health Clinic (BHC) Makalapa or associated BHCs/Annexes
within a 25 mile radius of NHHC. No mileage or per diem
shall be paid for local travel.
The Health Care Worker, HCW, a board certified
Pediatrician:
Provide a full range of physician services in accordance
with privileges granted by the Commanding Officer.
Technically direct, perform, or assist in the
instruction of, other health care professionals seeing
patients within the scope of their clinical privileges
or responsibilities.
Promote preventive and health maintenance care,
including annual physicals, positive health behaviors,
and self-care skills through education and counseling.
Request consultation or referral with appropriate
physicians, clinics, or other health resources as
indicated.
Order diagnostic tests as applicable.
Technically direct and teach other medical staff, and
provide educational lectur es and participate in the
provision of in-service training to clinic staff
members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to
Government and professional clinical standards and
accepted clinical protocols. This requirement is
consistent with the personal services nature of the
contract.
Job Requirements:
Possess a doctoral degree from an accredited university.
Board Certified as a Pediatric Physician
Possess a minimum of two years experience as a
Pediatrician practice/setting within the proceeding
three years, or have completed a Pediatric residency
training program within the proceeding two years.
Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted
license (corresponding to the specialty required) in one
of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the
Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin
Islands.
Strong written and oral communication skills,
organizational ski lls, and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
