Care, you may be a great candidate for the Emergency Department at
KapiÂ'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu,
HawaiÂ'i.
KapiÂ'olani Medical for Women and Children has a team of
board-certified emergency medicine physicians. The facility is
the only pediatric emergency department in the state of HawaiÂ'i,
treating approximately 16,000 patients a year. The ER strives
to provide excellence in emergency care to pediatric patients, as
well as those needing womenÂ's services. Such services include
sports injuries, infections, respiratory infections, oncology
complications amongst many others. The emergency team is
trained to diagnose patients and refer them to pediatric specialists
within the hospital when necessary.
T! he Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care
thr! ough assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and
documentation of patient care. Functions as an associate to a
charge nurse and begins to assume charge nurse
responsibilities.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Must meet education
requirements for HawaiÂ'i state licensing. Current HawaiÂ'i RN
license. Current BLS/HCP card, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. One
year recent registered nurse experience in a critical care
setting.
Pre! ferred:
Two years recent registered nurse experience
in
the ER. Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Pediatric ER or PICU experience.
