Computed tomography technologists, or CT technologists, specialize in a particular method of medical imaging that utili! zes tomography. CT technologists must follow all regulations concerning the use of radiation so as to protect themselves, as well as patients and coworkers, from unnecessary exposure.
Job Requirements
ARRT CT tech with BLS and current HI licensure, exp with Toshiba Aquilion 32-slice CT scanner, and ability to work solo
Facility
As the second-busiest emergency room in its state and the largest employer in its city, this comprehensive medical center is sprawled over more than 20 acres and is licensed for 264 beds, including a 112-bed extended-care facility, 130 acute care and 22 skilled nursing beds, a 20-bed psychiatric unit, and an accredited home care agency. Other specialties offered include a regional oncology center, as well as cardiac, critical care, nutrition, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, and rehabilitation.
