Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children has a
team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
Kapi’olani is the only pediatric emergency department in
the state of Hawai’i, treating approximately 16,000
patients a year. The ER strives to provide excellence in
emergency care to pediatric patients, as well as those
needing women’s services. Services include sports
injuries, infections, respiratory infections, oncology
complications amongst many others. The emergency team is
trained to diagnose patients and refer them to pediatric!
specialists within the hospital when necessary.
Your ! role as the Supervisor, Clinical Services will be
to supervise staff and oversee the daily operations of
the Emergency department. You will be responsible for
implementing and tracking the effectiveness of programs,
plans, or policies designed to enhance the quality of
patient care services.

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet educational
requirements for Hawai‘i state licensing. Current
Hawai‘i RN License. Current BLS/HCP card. Three years
clinical experience with! concentration in area of
specialty. One year of charge nurse or related
experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, health care
administration or related field. Current national
certification for ER nurse. ACLS. PALS. NRP.
