RN Admissions Coordinator

Description: Shriners Hospitals For Children is looking of RN Admissions Coordinator right now, this job will be ordered in Hawaii. The Registered Nurse Admissions Coordinator works with our physicians for scheduling the admission of patients into hospital. Communicates with our patients and their families to ensure an eff! icient admission process. Contacts health care providers to ensure medical procedures are done and records received. Screens patients prior to and upon arrival to hospital. Work with government liaisons for patients residing outside of Hawaii to ensure requirements are met prior travel. Communicates to staff of patients' status.
Hawaii license and minimum one year acute experence. Excellent communication skills. Pediatric and orthopedic experience required.
