West Kauai Medical Center/West Kauai Clinics are seeking a BC/BE general Pediatrician for our Critical Access Hospital in Waimea. Newborn resuscitation, neonatal intubation, umbilical line insertion, circumcision, current PALS and NRP certification required. Ideal opportunity for a pediatrician who enjoys the practice of general pediatrics in a rural setting.
Prolonged stabilization and care of newborns awaiting transfer to a tertiary care facility by air ambulance is sometimes required. 24-hour Emergency Department staffed by board certified emergency medicine physicians, consultation with general surgery and obstetrics always available.
