Hawaiâi Pacific Health Research Institute (HPHRI) is dedicated to assisting researchers with protocol development, Scientific Review Committee submission, Administrative review and IRB submission. The Pediatric Trauma Program Coordinator coordinates multi-disciplinary resources to provide care to trauma patients across the continuum of trauma care. In coordination with the Trauma Medical Director, plans, organizes, coordinates and evaluates all aspects of the Trauma Service, including its delivery process, performance improvement, prevention and public education, training and continuing education. Responsible for implementing and tracking the effectiveness of programs, plans, or policies designed to enhance the quality of patient care services at the department/unit level. Coordinates the development, implementation, review and revision of Pediatric Trauma program standards, policies, procedures and protocols for a Pediatric Trauma resource Hospital. Ensures that the highest quality of service is being rendered to patients. Responsible for collection, coding, scoring and developing processes for validation of trauma and other related data. Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaiâi state licensing. Current Hawaiâi RN license. Current BLS/HCP card. Current certification or certification within 6 months of hire in ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, CEN. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience in pediatric critical or emergency room care. Preferred: Experience in Pediatric Trauma.
