Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children has a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians. Kapi’olani is the only pediatric emergency department in the state of Hawai’i, treating approximately 16,000 patients a year. The ER strives to provide excellence in emergency care to pediatric patients, as well as those needing women’s services. Services include sports injuries, infections, respiratory infections, oncology complications amongst many others. The emergency team is trained to diagnose patients and refer them to pediatric specialists within the hospital when necessary. Your role as the Manager, Clinical Services will be to oversee all aspects of the Emergency Department. You will manage the administrative and patient care activity of this area and integrate organizational and clinic service philosophy and objectives into management of patient care delivery activities. You will also be responsible for implementing and tracking the effectiveness of programs, plans, or policies designed to enhance the quality of patient care services at the department/unit level. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing. Current Hawaii RN license. Three years of leadership, management or supervisory experience in a health care setting or related experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing, health care administration or related field. Budget/finance experience.
