Job Description


As a Technical Developer you are responsible for setting up and implementing analysis methods in accordance with international standards in our Minerals laboratory. You will work (internationally) with chemical analysts, technical managers, lab managers and project managers during your daily work to continuously strive for optimization and efficiency within the laboratory.


Your main duties and responsibilities include:


  • Optimize existing methods and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and reliability.
  • Assessing incoming analysis requests. This assessment shall be carried out as to whether the requested technical feasibility is feasible
  • Setting up and implementing new analysis methods. Setting up and implementing analysis methods in accordance with international standards
  • Draft new work regulations
  • Performing analysis methods within the relevant department
  • Assessing the analysis results and reporting to the manager of the department
  • Written report of periodic validation examination; written report extensive validation research for the implementation of new measurement methods and equipment and the drawing up of an action plan.

Qualifications


For this position, we expect you to be able to successfully carry out your work with the following prerequisites:

  • Bachelor level in chemistry direction or equivalent
  • Several years of experience with analytical chemistry (wet-chemical outcrops, ICP, Tritration) is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
  • You are creative and like to work independently
  • Above all, you are a pleasant colleague!
