AAA Northeast is looking for an energetic and motivated Travel Advisor to join our travel team.
AAA has been helping and serving its members for more than a century on the road and beyond. As one of North America’s largest leisure travel agencies, AAA Travel has always been on the forefront of what’s next in dreaming, planning, and going and we are looking for enthusiastic travel professionals to join our growing team.
A successful AAA Travel Advisor is organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will provide excellent service and build relationships with our members while researching, reserving, and finalizing domestic and international travel arrangements.
The travel advisor role has the following responsibilities:
- Curate travel experiences and share product knowledge- selling cruises, tours, resort packages, and independent adventures worldwide
- Achieve assigned sales goals- build business by converting local, phone, and online leads
- Give exemplary member service- we want to create raving fans through service excellence
- Relationship building- create repeat clients and lasting relationships for future business
- Brand ambassador & community involvement- represent AAA and our various services in your community through volunteer and local engagement

Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED Required
- 2+ years of experience in the travel industry or customer service/sales environment preferred
- Proficient with basic computer knowledge, well-organized, and able to learn new systems
- Personal travel experience always a plus!
