VISTA Physician Search and Consulting is seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for an established rural practice on the Big Island of Hawaii. Benefits of this full-time permanent position include:
Opportunity Benefits:
* Currently 3 other Pediatricians in the practice as well as a CPNP
* Seeking a board-certified Pediatrician with experience in a rural practice setting
* Must be experienced in stabilizing neonates and pediatric patients for transport; it can be up to 6 hours for Life Flight team to arrive
* Hospital has Level I nursery
* See an average! of 24 patients per day in the clinic
* Clinic hours are ! 8:30 a.m.. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday
* Work 4 days in the office per week
* Call is for both the practice and at the hospital; weekend call is from Friday-Sunday
* On call 9 days per month
* When on call, you are on call for "everything"; established skills with neonates, ER, critical care, c-sections, etc.
* Guarantee of $200,000
* Benefits include CME expense of $2,000 annually, 3 weeks of vacation, deluxe health plan for physician and family, paid malpractice insurance, negotiable moving expenses
