Nurse Practitioner

Description: Shriners Hospitals for Children is in need of Nurse Practitioner right now, this job will be assigned in Hawaii. The Nurse Practitioner is a member of our medical staff teams which treats pediatric and young orthopedic patients from Hawaii and the Pacific Basin. The primacy focus for this position is our outpatient c! linic and will perform admission histories and physicals, evaluations, and formulates treatment plans and orders tests in collaboration with our physicians and health care team, educates patients and families, communicates with primary care physcians and others, performs rounds of inpatients with physicians, documents in EMR, and other duties.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in nursing with nurse practitioner specialty. Hawaii RN and APRN licenses. NP certification preferred. Minimum 3 years NP experience in pediatrics and/or orthopedics. Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
