Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is well recognized as Hawai‘i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 207 beds and 66 bassinets,! the nonprofit hospital is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is also a tertiary care, medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency care, neonatal and pediatric air transport and children’s specialty clinics. With a dedicated team of more than 1,300 employees and 604 physicians, the hospital is home to Kapi‘olani Women’s Center, Kapi‘olani Breast Center and Kapi‘olani Women’s Cancer Center, the state’s only dedicated breast health and gynecological cancer centers. Kapi‘olani offers numerous community programs and services, such as the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and Sex Abuse Treatment Center, and through our affiliation with the University of Hawai‘i, we are home to the John A. Burns School of Medicine Pediatrics and OB/GYN residency programs.
Lani Booth IV delivers individualized, comprehensive, culturally sensitive a! nd family-oriented care in a multi-disciplinary approach to he! alth and wellness. Services provided by the Mother Baby Care team include pre-delivery and post-delivery support, including work with high-risk and compromised pregnancies. Lani Booth IV also provides general adult medical surgical care including gynecologic, oncology, minor orthopedics and simple fractures.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will join the team of clinical professionals providing exceptional health care services at Kapi‘olani. In this role, you will help to perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone helpful and dedicated, with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification or completion of one (1) year of a nursing program. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). One (1) year clerical experience in a health care setting.
