Sodexo is seeking an experienced Operations Manager of Environmental Services for Kapi Ê» olani Medical Center for Women and Children located in Honol! ulu, Hawaii . This 207 bed acute care specialty hospital is a part of Hawaii Pacific Health's network of hospitals, has 207 beds and focuses on labor and delivery and pediatrics. Kapi Ê» olani Medical Center is Hawaii's only children's hospital with a team of physicians and nurses and specialized technology trained specifically to care for children, from infants to young adults. It has the state's only 24-hour pediatric emergency room, pediatric intensive care unit and adolescent unit.
Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of proven leadership skills, previous experience in custodial/housekeeping in a hospital or healthcare environment, have an understanding of regulatory guidelines and maintain flexibility in work hours and be able to train / mentor/ motivate hourly staff. The ideal candidate for this position will also have strong client/employee relationship-building skills and possess the ability to manage direct reports, handle multiple priorities, quickly grasp! situations and logically progress through solutions, the abil! ity to refine systems ensuring sustained effort of achieving standards, follow through and visibility within the facility. Must be knowledgeable in HCAHPS, Patient Throughput, and employee satisfaction.
This position is the number two position at this account and will oversee a staff of 52 client employees, two Sodexo Managers, and will report directly to the General Manager.

Position Summary:
Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction an! d good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
