The Informatics Analyst is under the general direction of the Department Manager or designee, is responsible for performing data analysis and problem so! lving to develop report or business intelligence analysis in a! complex health care environment. Interacts with customers to understand and define their information needs and partners with necessary teams to meet those needs. Collaborates with functional teams and recommends optimal techniques to collect, store, retrieve and analyze the data. Translates high-level business requirements into reports or business intelligence analytical dashboards. Develops clinical and financial reports utilized with Hawai'i Pacific Health's enterprise data warehouse.

In this role, you will provide support to different departments and act as a liaison between our business services and the IT department. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and highly organized who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current HI driver's license and auto insurance. Two (2) years of experience with report development using SQL, demonstrating knowledge of health care applications and database concepts in a health care setting, working with business units to solve business problems through the use of analytics, and utilizing a data warehouse to provide business analytics and/or create clinical quality analytics.
Preferred Qualifications: Epic Report Writing Certification. Experience with charting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
