Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is well recognized as Hawai‘i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. ! With 207 beds and 66 bassinets, the nonprofit hospital is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is also a tertiary care, medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency care, neonatal and pediatric air transport and children’s specialty clinics.
With a dedicated team of more than 1,300 employees and 604 physicians, the hospital is home to Kapi‘olani Women’s Center, Kapi‘olani Breast Center and Kapi‘olani Women’s Cancer Center, the state’s only dedicated breast health and gynecological cancer centers. Kapi‘olani offers numerous community programs and services, such as the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and Sex Abuse Treatment Center, and through our affiliation with the University of Hawai‘i, we are home to the John A. Our dedicated and engaging staff provides an array of services such as: physical check-ups; vaccinations and TB screening; treatment and management of childhood illnesses; coordinated management of special health problems and chronic illnesses; hearing/vision screening; WIC/Head Start check-ups and lab services and diagnostic and minor surgical procedures. As the Coordinator of Clinic Care at the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with young children and their families by coordinating patient care services in the ambulatory clinics. You will develop, implement, and evaluate clinical services in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team to promote and render the highest quality of service for patients. Locat! ion: Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining Exempt: Yes Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawai’i state licensing. Current Hawai’i RN license. Current BLS/HCP card. Three (3) years acute care nursing experience in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, or with Adults or relevant experience.
One (1) year charge nurse or related experience. Preferred Qualifications: PALS. ACLS. Current national certification in area of specialty.
