Job Description & RequirementsSonographer - GYN - (Sonography - Sonog)StartDate: 05/31/2013Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E Pay Rate: $41.00-46.00 * Echo, OB, and Vascular Sonographers! needed for 6 month assignments in HI. Must have 3 yrs experience in an Acute setting and be registered in 2 areas.Sonographers are certified to operate equipment that collects reflected echoes and forms images that physicians use during the diagnostic and treatment process. Diagnostic medical sonographers may specialize in a variety of areas (e.g., OB/GYN sonography, abdominal sonography, neurosonography, vascular sonography, breast sonography, and cardia/echo sonography).Required QualificationsARDMS in 2 SpecialitiesProficient with Philips iU22 Ultrasound System (or able to quickly adapt to) and Teleradiology equipment.Work Experience: Prefer at least 3 years work experience in an acute hospital, specializing in OB/GYN, Abdomen, and Vascular.
