Kapi’olani is well recognized as Hawai’i's leader in the
care of women and children. As the major teaching
hospital for the state’s OB/GYN program, the facility
has a highly trained team of physician specialists,
nurses, technologists and therapists that share a
special understanding of women's needs. The Women’s
Ambulatory Cancer Center is an outpatient clinic that
provides comprehensive Gynecologic/Oncology services
including cancer treatment for ovarian, cervical,
endometrial, and colorectal chemotherapy infusion and
post chemotherapy symptom management. A! dditional
services include breast cancer chemotherapy infu! sion.
This caring team incorporates evidence-based practice
and state of the art technologies in their
multidisciplinary approach to care.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care
through assessment, planning, implementation,
evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Functions
as an associate to a charge nurse and begins to assume
charge nurse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements
for Hawai’i state licens! ing. Current Hawai’i RN license.
Current BLS/HCP card. One year recent registered nurse
experience in adult gynecological and breast
chemotherapy administration/infusion in an acute care
setting.
Preferred: Two years recent registered nurse experience
in gynecological and breast oncology. Chemo
Certification. ACLS. Apheresis experience preferred.
Pediatrics and Adult patient care experience.
