Kapi'olani is well recognized as HawaiÂ'i's leader in the care
of women and children. As the major teaching hospital for the
stateÂ's Pediatric and OB/GYN programs, Kapi'olani has a highly
trained team of physician specialists, nurses, technologists and
therapists that share a special understanding of women and childrenÂ's
needs.
The Supervisor, Clinical Services - FBC
supervises staff and
oversees the daily operation of the Family Birth Center.
Responsible for implementing and tracking the effectiveness of
programs, plans, or policies designed to enhance the quality of
patient care services for the department.

Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must
meet educational requirements for HawaiÂ'i state licensing.
Current HawaiÂ'i RN License. Current BLS/HCP and NRP card.
Three years recent Registered Nurse experience in Labor and Delivery
with at least two years high risk OB experience and Advanced Fetal
Monitoring. One year of charge nurse or related experience.
Preferred:
BachelorÂ's Degree in nursing, health care
administration or related field. Current national certification
in Labor and Delivery.
