Medical Receptionist


 

Front Office Receptionist needed for highly prestigious plastic surgery practice. We are a busy plastic surgery practice that offers various procedures and non-invasive treatments with a concierge service. We need a dedicated professional to be a friendly face of our practice. We deliver highly personalized treatment plans while building lasting relationships with our clients to ensure they receive the best care possible.

The front office is the primary point of contact for patients accessing The Plastic Surgery Institute for appointments and care related questions. Will answer phone calls for assigned specialties, schedule appointments, address patient inquiries, issues and complaints as well as route and advance calls as needed. In addition they will check in/out patients, process payments, prepare charts, apply Alle/Aspire award points, manage faxes, promote products and treatments and more.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Excellent telephone manner and skills
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Manage calendar and check in/out in EMR (PatientNow), monitor daily office flow to ensure smooth experience for all patients
  • Process Payments
  • Multi-tasking while keeping a positive and friendly demeanor is a must
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Directing calls on a multi-line phone
  • Registering and schedule patients seeking an appointment via phone or electronic correspondence
  • Enter and verify demographic information
  • Provide information to patients regarding services
  • Making future appointments

Qualifications:

  • Full availability M-F (8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Must have at least three (3) years of customer service experience
  • Must have at least one (1) year of telephonic experience discussing confidential medical information to consumers
  • Health Plan experience highly desirable
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
  • Able to maintain poise and a friendly attitude at all times
  • Bilingual - Preferred
