Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Full-time employee position with Galler Rimm Behavioral Health Services, Inc (GRBH)
Job Description:
- We are seeking a board certified behavior analyst with experience working with autistic children/young adults and their families
- Immediate openings are available in our expanding upcountry Maui behavioral health practice
- Opportunities to broaden your skills while working under the auspices of a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician and a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist
Required Education, Certification, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above
- BCBA certificate in good standing
- At least one year experience working with ABA and autistic children and their families
Position Qualifications:
- Certified BCBA
- Must obtain Hawaii behavior analyst license prior to start date
- Must have thorough knowledge of and experience working with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Strong assessment and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while also working independently
- Desire to collaborate with team members
- Solid communication skills
- Solid technology skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass state and federal background check
- Your own malpractice insurance
Position Duties:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Design and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the practice physicians
- Monitor treatment progress
- Assist with team member training, mentoring, and supervision of BCaBA’s and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's) in collaboration with the practice physicians
- Collaborate and communicate with client’s family, caregivers, and other service providers as appropriate
- Provide direct services to clients and their families
- Meet with clinical staff regularly to review progress
- Document progress notes, reports, and other updates on a routine basis.
- Attend regularly scheduled clinical meetings.
- Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and BCBA code of ethics.
