Kapiâolani Medical Center for Women & Children is well recognized as Hawaiâiâs leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 207 beds and 66 bassinettes, the nonprofit hosp! ital is Hawaiâiâs only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is also a tertiary care, medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency care, neonatal and pediatric air transport and childrenâs specialty clinics.
With a dedicated team of more than 1,300 employees and 604 physicians, the hospital is home to Kapiâolani Womenâs Center, Kapiâolani Breast Center and Kapiâolani Womenâs Cancer Center, the stateâs only dedicated breast health and gynecological cancer centers. Kapiâolani offers numerous community programs and services, such as the Kapiâolani Child Protection Center and Sex Abuse Treatment Center, and through our affiliation with the University of Hawaiâi, we are home to the John A. Burns School of Medicine Pediatrics and OB/GYN residency programs. Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Kapiâolani.
The department encompasses the people, records and activ! ities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Kapiâolaniâs numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our Telecommunications team is responsible for administering and providing efficient and effective means of communication throughout the Hawaiâi Pacific Health facility network.
If you have a deep understanding of complex institutional communication systems, you could be the ideal candidate for our Telecommunications Manager position. In this role, you will help to ensure the maintenance of efficient and accurate communications service to the employees and clients of Pali Momi by supervising the day-to-day operations of the department, including the maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, and inst! allation of hospital communications systems. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, an understanding of systems and operational protocol and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiâiâs people. Location: Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining Exempt: Yes Minimum Qualifications: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible telecommunications or technical work experience. Valid driver's license and abstract. Current Hawaiâi auto insurance.
