An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:
Acute
Hand
Home health
Long-term care
Outpatient
Pediatric
Psychiatric

The Inpatient Occupational Therapist provides direct occupational therapy services and consultation. Provides occupational therapy services across the full continuum of care provided by the assigned Hawaii Pacific Health facility.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Occupational Therapy cert and Current AHA BLS HCP CPR card. NBCOT Occupational Therapy Certification. Two years general occupational therapy experience in an inpa! tient setting.
