ambulatory patients.
The Medical Assistant performs a wide variety of patient
care activities rendering quality patient care to
patients of all ages in accordance with standards of
practice appropriate to the training and ! abilities of a
medical assistant.

outpatient clinics & service sites, and over 1,300

Minimum Qualifications: A graduate of a medical
assistant program, or equivalent combination of
education, training or experience. Current BLS/HCP card.
Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant through the AAMA.
Six months of medical assistant experience. Knowledge of
CPT / ICD-9 Coding. Experience with online medical
software systems. One year of Pediatric, OBGYN, Derm,
and IM/FP experience.
