Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty
physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women
and children, through excellence in academics and
clinical care. The group is comprised of over 70
specialists covering newborn to women's health services
that includes Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology,
Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatrics
Orthopedics, Pediatric Urology, and many other
specialists. KMS has partnered with Kapi'olani Medical
Center for Women & Children to provide pediatric and
women's specialty care. KMS offers highly specialized
care available only at Kapi'olani, and builds community
support for providing these services within Hawai'i
while operating exclusively for charitable, scientific
and educational purposes.
The Patient Service Representative acts as a lia! ison
between patients and the professional staff by
fa! cilitating clerical and reception responsibilities and
assisting in administrative tasks. Interviews,
registers, admits, updates, and creates patients'
medical records. Performs accurate, complete, and timely
processing of all professional/technical fees generated
by department providers. Performs cash handling and
collection duties.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Basic
computer skills. One (1) year of clerical experience in
a health care setting ! or related experience.
Preferred: Basic Medical Terminology. Experience with
EPIC.
