Description: Kamehameha Schools is presently looking of Teaching Aide (Temporary, ECE) right now, this vacancy will be assigned in Hawaii. Instructional: Assists in daily classroom lessons including appropriate interactions with students, small group instruction, observations and assessment. Substitutes when Teach! er is absent. Supervision: Supervises student behavior independently and under Teacher direction using appropriate early childhood health and safety guidelines. Program/Clerical Support: Provides program and clerical support through snack menu pick-up; maintaining attendance and other records; ordering and maintaining materials and supplies. Classroom Participation: Prepares materials needed for a safe and healthy classroom indoor/outdoor environment including daily snack preparation and sanitizing; maintaining classroom centers, materials and equipment. Staff Development: Participates in workshops and In-services. Achieves and maintains relevant certifications (Community First Aid and Pediatric CPR).
Position Requirements
- Six months or less of related work experience. • Good interpersonal skills • Able to organize a high volume of varied work activities • Able to lift children up to 30 pounds. • Good written and oral communication skills.! • Have a valid driver’s license.
