Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/12 D/E/N
This Labor and Delivery unit s! ees 100 births per month. Need someone to assist with high risk deliveries, scrubs and/or circulates for C-sections, follow patients during labor, perform fetal monitoring, . This facility does practice bedside report and/or hourly rounding. Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
BLS & NRP required.
Electronic Medical Record experience required.
Travele! r must have experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery (well baby! and special care), Postpartum, and GYN.
Preferred Qualifications
EFM and STABLE certification recommended
